Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew looked to be very glad all over when the Eagles scored against Manchester United in the FA Cup final, prompting him to break out some bizarre dance moves.
It’s since emerged he was channelling comedian Peter Kay for his amusing but awkward looking goal celebration.
If you’re not sure what we mean, watch Pards doing his thing after Jason Puncheon put Palace ahead at Wembley.

And then watch Kay’s ‘dad dance’ routine.
The similarities are there for all to see!
As well as catching the attention of millions of TV viewers and setting social media abuzz on Saturday, the touchline antics didn’t go unnoticed by the opposition players out on the pitch.
A video of Juan Mata returning to the United bench appeared to show the Spaniard asking fellow Red Devils’ midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin whether his eyes had been deceiving him.

Unfortunately Pardew’s audition for Strictly Come Dancing ended up matching the colours of Palace’s shirts – a touch red-faced from the reaction to his dad dance and blue for how he must have been feeling after United came back to win the match.
Many people have been asking whether Pards’ snake hips routine is the worst goal celebration ever seen. We’ve certainly not been able to remember or find one yet ...
