Police will take to Twitter to keep the crowds at this year's Wimbledon tennis championships informed.
Senior officers said the force had planned for the "prevailing threat to the UK" ahead of this year's tournament, which starts on Monday.
Britain's Andy Murray will be riding high after his triumph at Queen's last weekend, though 2015 champ Novak Djokovic, who bested Murray in the French Open final this year, will fancy his chances again.
Chief Superintendent Colin Morgan said: "We have reflected on previous operational plans and the prevailing threat to the UK.
"We have adapted our plans where necessary to ensure we deliver a safe and secure championships.
"I encourage everyone to have a great time but to be vigilant and report anything suspicious to a police officer or member of staff.
"We will be making full use of Twitter this year to provide up-to-date information concerning the policing of this event."
The force warned punters to be alert but not alarmed during the two-week championships.
