I've found a new obsession. It's my brand spanking new digital pedometer.

That's right it's digital and equals all kinds of walking joy.

See Thursday I cracked open it's shiny black case to find I'd walked a pathetic 5,000 steps. That's only half the 10,000 healthy target.

So yesterday I made a promise to myself, where once I sat I would walk. Where once I wheeled my little office chair I would walk. And where I would walk, well, then I'd walk real slow and add a few more steps in.

It was half Ministry of Silly Walks, it was half Green Goddess madness.

But it seems to have paid off. The total now stands at 16,677.

And the best part is, staggering home from the pub counts too.

I could get into this exercise thing.
